Anyone interested in the seminar should contact Mr Wood. Click here for details and form. 17th May 2010 Chingford Club Demo WoodTKD will be doing a demo on 26th June in Chingford. There will be 2 sessions. One at 1:20 and the second at 2:20. Each session will be for approx. 15 - 20 minutes. 8th May 2010 Welsh Championships The Welsh Championships will be held on Sunday 23rd May at: This is open to both adults and juniors. Entry forms must be handed into your instructor by no later than 14th May. All competitors must arrive by 9:30 AM. Tag team details: Divisions in tag team sparring: WOMEN: 3 person team. ** Boys and Girls separate teams** There are no team events for Executive Male & Executive Female or Cadet Male & Female Cadet. All junior teams are under 16 years old and all senior teams are 16 and over. The weekend is suitable for both adults and children and cater for all aspects of Tae kwon Do training regardless of grade and experience.
30th January 2010 9th OPEN WORLD TAE KWON DO CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010 The championships will take place on the 11th - 12th September 2010 at: The International Centre The entry fee for the championships will be £30 per event in the male & female adult divisions and £20 per event for juniors. All entries forms must be received by your instructor by the 2nd August 2010 along with the fee. The weigh in for these championships will take place on Friday 10th September at: The Holiday Inn Hotel (on site at the Telford International Centre). It will be open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. If you cannot make this day there will be a weigh in room at the centre all day Saturday or failing that you will be weighed/height tested on the area prior to your event. You must register if you are only doing patterns or destruction. Umpires/Referee’s and Team leaders can apply to officiate at this event It is advisable to pre book your spectator tickets before the event, as there are limited seats available at this venue. (2,000 in total). We expect it to sell out quickly! Adult 2 day ticket £40 Only TAGB white suits or the special 2010 world championships doboks may be worn to this event. These will be available from TKD Promotions within a couple of months. After the close of the championships there will be a disco party for all competitors and officials at the International Centre. All competitors and officials can gain free entry with their ID cards. Tickets for guests are £10 and will be on sale at the merchandising stall at the championships. Click here for an entry form.

2nd Semptember 2009 Southeast Championships The championships will be held on Saturday 24th October 2009 at All entries must be received by Saturday 10th October 2009. TICKETS Team events will consist of a 3 person team, bouts will be for 4 minutes. Each time the bout is stopped you can change with a member of your team by tagging your team members glove. All 3 members must fight at some stage during the bout. All team matches will be point stop. If you are only competing in the team event, you will need to purchase a spectator ticket for the rest of the day. Remember this year there is adult divisions and you could be the first adult Disney champion in this inaugural event. 05th August 2009 Winter Camp - Minehead Mr Ron Sergiew winter camp will be held on the weekend of 28th/29th Novemeber 2009 at Butlins Holiday camp in Minehead. The training is open to all grades, 18 years old and over. You can arrive any time on Friday 27th Novemeber. Cost of the camp is £110 per adult - and includes 3 night’s accommodation and all training. Please make cheques payable to Mr A. Wood. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS The championships will take place from the 5th - 10th May 2009 in Croatia. The cost of the 5 day trip will be £300 for the accommodation only.This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner in a double or triple room (sharing). You will need to make your own travel arrangements to Croatia. All completed forms must be handed in to your instructor by 20th March along with the cost of the accommodation and fee for the number of events entered. 7th September 2008 Winter Camp 2008 Mr Sergiew TAGB 25th Anniversary winter camp in Butlins, Minehead will be held on the weekend of 29th/30th November 2008. The cost of the camp is £95 per adult, which included 3 nights accommodation and all the training.
